i have been a lifelong benny hill fan. i saw the benny hill show live 3 times at thames london studios in 1984/85. the 1st time i snuck backstage and actually knocked on benny's dressing room. the sign on the door said "benny and the girls". was the thrill of my life.

hello, i have just come across your website and am amazed at how fab it is. it was a real honour to work with benny and great to see so many people still love to watch his shows.
i was working in a show with a girl who had previously worked with benny and she suggested i write to him personally which i did. low and behold nearly two years later i received a call inviting me to audition as an angel and was really pleased to be offered the job with future shows in the pipeline. i made some lovely friends and met some amazing people.thanks for all the interest and keep it going. debbie

From, Louisville Kentucky, USA... My dad used to let me and my buddies watch an episode or two back in the 80s, and his comedy stuck with me for all these years... Brilliant comedy, absolutey hilarious, unmatched by anyone til this day. As an older fellow now, I recently started renting the collections of the Benny Hill show, and laughed as hard today as back then. There are only a few people Id like to meet when I die, Benny would make that list. He would be fun to be around, Im sure.

To me Benny Hill was the best commedian of all-time, bar none! No one was as diversified as a commedian as he was. At a time when I didn't care for British humour he was the exception. No other commedian could "do it all" the way Benny could, not Robin Williams, who I admire greatly, not Richard Pryor, nobody. He truly was the master of every comic genre. He is greatly missed! What little I have seen of this website thus far (There is just so much to it!) I really like! It is so well done and does the memory of Benny Hill great justice! Bravo on such a wonderful job! Sincerely yours, John Felix Koziol (pondowski@yahoo.com)

I was reading back through some of the past entries, and I'm afraid that I have to echo the sentiments of Tredder and Ms. Whatling, in that I also enjoy the "Little Angels" segments very much. Those skits definitely brought a new element to Mr. Hill's comedic style. I honestly think it was a natural move for him, because Benny himself usually played either an imp-ish child or a grown man who had an imp-ish innocence about him, like a precocious child's mind in a man's body. A most complex dichotomy ; that's what made Benny so brilliant as an entertainer and his work so enjoyable.

He seemed to have worked so well with the children, just as if he was an uncle, or a grandfather. In fact, most of the reactions almost seem to natural to have been rehearsed. There was a real love between Benny and the kids, and it showed. This is just my observation, but I'm sure I'm correct with it. Best Wishes To All!!!

Thanks a million times over for such a wonderful website! As is it dedicated to one of the world's greatest comedians (in the same league as Charles Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Buster Keaton, and the great French master Max Linder), as well as being dedicated to the most beautiful and talented ladies whose heavenly looks ever graced a camera, I have spent many, many happy hours on your site!! Sometimes, when I am having a bad night at work, I'll log on to the site and I'll look at the wonderful Hill's Angels, and my night will just get better and better!! I have nothing but the greatest love and respect for every one of the Angels. If any of you ladies are reading this, thanks for all of the wonderful entertainment you all have given me! I wish I could give each and every one of you a bouquet of a thousand roses!!

I know that Heaven must be having the best party ever now, because Benny (as Fred Scuttle), Henry McGee (the interviewer), along with Bob Todd and Jackie Wright (the loveable old comic reliefs) are doing their best and funniest routines right now for all up there to see! They must have a special place in heaven, because they brought a little heaven down to us here on earth through the gift of laughter.

Any one who loves the show as much as I do, please feel free to communicate with me. I would love to hear from you and talk about the greatest show of all time! Please e-mail me at spotts60@yahoo.com

TIZZ SUCH A WONDERFUL SIGHT, I feel that you are helping the world of Benny Hill fans and fans to come. A place to share the love of him, and genuine appreciation for all the joy and laughter, that he gave us. At times as a young man I,d stay up till 11;30 on a school night. I,d laugh so hard I,d piss my self. My whole idea of what sexy is comes from Hill,s Angels. Long before Victoria Secret, there was Benny,s Angels wearing Stockings and pantys and those bad girl outfits. I love him. And you got to believe that any man that can bring so much happyness to so many people, that God has made a special place in heaven for him.Can you say Saint Benny. He will endure. My kid comes home from school one day and tells me how all his freinds are talking about Benny Hill. Go on Youtube, and there are endless tributes to him. All the more reason for a sight like yours. Thanks for the great work on the site...... With the new A&E releases I can now enjoy what I have missed for quite a while now. I remembered a little skit with Benny as a hobo clown and an attractive lady on a billboard that magically came to life and danced with him.I waited a long time for this release because I knew only a complete set would insure my finding this little gem. "The Rose" had a score (during Louise English's brief dance with Benny) of music that I had heard when I was a kid somewhere that stuck in my mind.I've never known the name of the tune but have always loved it.The number was very well done and is my favorite. Thank you very much to Benny, Sue, Louise, Henry, Jackie and all of the others for making me laugh all these years. I can only hope that those of you who have now gone from us can hear the echos of laughter from those of us who still enjoy what you left us.....
